Maps Data Scraper - Missing reviews info

Hi,

I’m experiencing inconsistent results while scraping locations using Google Maps Scraper.

Here’s what I did:

  1. I scraped ~3,500 locations using Categories/Brands.
  2. In the output file, around ~300 locations had full Google details (name, address, rating, etc.) but no review data.
  3. I collected the place_id values for those 300 locations and re-scraped them using Uploaded File (Enrichment Mode).
  4. On the second run:
  • ~200 locations returned complete data including reviews.
  • ~50 locations still had missing reviews.
  • A few had no Google details at all.
  1. I re-scraped the remaining ~50 problematic locations:
  • 7 returned complete results.
  • The rest still had missing reviews.

I manually checked several of these problematic locations on Google Maps, and they appear active and have visible reviews.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior?

Sorry for the inconvenience. This may be related to recent issues we observed with Google Maps, where changes on Google’s side caused service degradation across several Google Maps services.

Our development team is currently investigating whether these changes are temporary or permanent, and this could explain the behavior you’re seeing in Outscraper.

Are you still experiencing the issue right now? If yes, please share:

  • The exact parameters you used (or a screenshot of the setup)
  • A screenshot of the current result/error message

Any News about this problem. I also do not get back the reviews per score data
