I’m using Outscraper to collect Trustpilot reviews for a company with 723 reviews. The API consistently returns only about 200 reviews.
I tested pagination directly:
limit=20, skip=20 works
limit=20, skip=200 returns 0
requesting all 723 in one request still only returns ~200 unique reviews
I’ve confirmed this is not a local deduplication issue.
Has anyone successfully retrieved more than 200 Trustpilot reviews with Outscraper? Is there a known Trustpilot pagination/API limitation, or a different parameter/approach required to access the full review history?
I apologize for the confusion and appreciate your understanding. Recently, Trustpilot has updated its web scraping policies, which now limit data extraction to a maximum of 10 pages. This change affects all users and applies similarly to other platforms like Amazon.
As of now, we can only extract data within this limit. Previously, before these policy updates, it was possible to scrape all available reviews.
